The rugged construction and sophisticated engineering of all BIG HK and VAK balers come from our extensive experience in the area of waste management technology and our drive to exceed the highest expectations. During the compaction process, a special blade on the ram head automatically cuts off any material extending into the feed chute. High-strength rollers on tempered, replaceable rails guide the ram sled and safely absorb the pressing and cutting forces. It takes only a few simple manipulations to reach the desired bale size (tying material: plastic strap, coiled wire and eyelet wire). After opening the front door, the ram head pushes the finished bale onto a transport device placed in front of the baler. All BIG HK and VAK balers are designed such that the dimensions of the feed chute as well as the channel dimensions can be increased or decreased according to individual requirements. By using stronger hydraulic units, the ram pressure and the throughput can be increased by up to 50%.

Rugged and durable:
Ram head guided on large, adjustable steel rollers on replaceable tempered guide rails within a sturdy compaction chamber.

Clear:
A perfectly designed monitoring and indicator system (e.g., LEDs on valves and non-contact limit switches) ensures quick identification of a possible trouble source and thus a high degree of operational reliability.

Up-to-date technology:
Programmable electronic control system with LED function indicators is essential in order to meet diverse customer requirements safely and without any compromises. Relays are used only where they are absolutely necessary. One glance demonstrates how uncomplicated and clear the control system really is.

Compact:
The vertical tying system without any potentially dangerous components protruding to the sides enables optimal placement of the balers. (For special requirements, e.g., height limits, a horizontal tying system is also available.)

Energy efficient:
Fast and powerful at low motor power thanks to a pressure-sensitive step-hydraulic system.

Complete and perfect:
Fully automatic tying system, automated start/stop of motor, photoelectric-sensor control system, automatic pressure-dependent self-regulating adjustment of compaction chamber, automatic shutdown in case of oil loss.

Practical and versatile:
The modular design of the 3 basic models makes it possible to meet the most varied requirements. Chute and channel dimensions, pressure, and power ratings can be increased by up to 50 %. The use of automatic compactors often requires specially adapted feed systems to minimize expensive handling. By offering conveyor belts, pneumatic transport systems, tipcarts, feeding hoppers, and lifting units, we design perfectly coordinated waste management systems.
